Oh, the Places You'll Go! Review

Oh the Places You'll Go![OH THE PLACES YOULL GO D][Hardcover] - DrSeuss

Oh, the Places You'll Go by Dr. Seuss, is one of my favorite books. This book is about life and the challenges you'll face along your life journey. I think the books is amazing for inspiring motivation to overcome any hardship. I would use this book in my classroom at the end of the school year to  show students that they're about to start a new chapter in their life and accomplish lots of amazing things and then have the students write about those things that they hope to accomplish in their future. (Book Level: AR 3.3)

Junie B. Jones and a little Monkey Buisness Review

Junie B. Jones and a Little Monkey Business - Barbara Park, Denise Brunkus

This Junie B. Jones book is about Junie B. Jones trying to survive having a new baby brother. After her grandmother see him and says, "he's the cutest little monkey", Junie B. Jones takes it seriously and thinks her baby brother is an actual monkey. I would use this book in my classroom as a book to read for fun but also for students to see what have a new sibling is like. The Giving Tree Review

The Giving Tree - Shel Silverstein

The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein, is a book that teaches about giving. In the book, in order to make a small boy happy, a tree gives all it has to the boy throughout all the stages of his life. I would use this book In my classroom when I'm teaching my students about giving and the importance of being grateful. A good activity to do with this book would be to have students write about a time they gave something to somebody or to write about the things that they are grateful for. (Book Reading level: AR 2.6)

The Rainbow Fish - Marcus Pfister, J. Alison James

This book was written and illustrated for children. This book is about a fish who finds friendship when he learns how to share. The purpose of this book is to teach children important morals like the importance of sharing and how sharing can bring happiness and acceptance. Therefore, I would incorporate this book into my classroom when teaching my students about morals and character strengths. (Book Reading Level: AR 3.3)
